Helen Keller

June 27, 1880 – September 1, 1968

Deaf and blind author, activist, and lecturer, who, with the help of her teacher and friend, Anne Sullivan, Helen Keller overcame her disabilities and went on to use her considerable voice to advocate for people with disabilities, women’s rights, and worker’s rights.
