Husband of Patty Muhleman.
Al was a saint to many because from the time he was eight years old he knew he wanted to be a doctor. That he fulfilled that aspiration became a blessing to so many people. Al believed that each person in this world was a child of God and, as such, should be treated with the same amount of respect and kindness, which he did.
He was a wonderful teacher. He was able to communicate with everyone at whatever level they were able to comprehend; be it a colleague, a medical student or a child.
He felt honored to be able to care for the veterans at the Cincinnati VA Hospital. They and their families loved him in return.
He was a compassionate, patient and loving person who enjoyed life and lived each day to the fullest. He is missed by many but especially by his family.
