Each ringer in the Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church Handbell Choir has his/her own set of bells (or musical notes) to ring.  On its own a bell or note has it's own character providing a unique sound within the musical spectrum.  These characteristics range from the low bass notes giving foundation and sustenance to the higher soprano notes giving clarity and brightness.  No one bell is any more important than the other, but fits in with the others to produce glorious music.

This same analogy applies to us as individual ringers as well  We all come from different backgrounds, life experiences, and are at different points in our spiritual journeys.  Yet as members of the body of Christ we all have our own gifts and ministries to share.  We are privileged to serve in a congregation where all people are welcomed and encouraged to fully participate in ministry and leadership.  And we are dedicated to spreading this message of  full inclusion and participation of all people throughout Christ's church.  It is in this spirit we raise our bells and ring for justice!
